Legislative Update- Week 7

Please see the attached document from the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners (AMNP) that details the current legislative happenings for week 7.

One particular item to highlight:

The hearing for SB 979 and SB 1016 (the priority transition to practice legislation for APRNs) and two CRNA bills during the Senate Emerging Issues & Professional Registration Committee has been cancelled for Tuesday, February 24. These bills are the highest priority legislation for AMNP as it permits APRNs to practice without a collaborating practice agreement (CPA) after 2,000 hours of practice in a CPA. There will be a continued push for a hearing of these bills and notification will be provided when they have been rescheduled.
