2025 StLNAP Symposium: Registration NOW OPEN!

Posted 2 months ago

Please join us for the 2025 St. Louis Nurses in Advanced Practice (StLNAP) 22nd Annual Symposium on April 10 and 11, 2025! This year is a one or two day event for up to 12.5 CEs! Participants may attend one or both days. Members of StLNAP, the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners (AMNP) and the Missouri Nurses Association (MONA) may attend at a discounted rate.

Day one offers hands-on workshops for reading xrays, EKGs, basic suturing and HEART DISSECTION for those wanting to review the anatomy of the heart and correlate common heart conditions associated with its anatomy. These workshops are ideal for student and experienced nurse practitioners, registered nurses and paramedics needing a skills refresher, or anyone who wants to learn something new. Participants may choose one morning and one afternoon session, but hurry, seating is limited in the heart dissection lab!

Day two is the main event and includes information about what healthcare providers need to know regarding body piercings and tattoos, pediatrics, women's health and mental health. Scott DeBoer is our keynote speaker this year and is sure to be entertaining, dynamic, and effective in teaching you what you need to know for acute and primary care providers. He is founder and lead seminar speaker for Pedi-Ed-Trics, LLC. We are also fortunate to have St. Louis' Dawn Garzon teach us about the influence of cell phones and social media use on our children and adolescent's mental health. Dawn is the main editor/author of the pediatric textbook used in most advanced practice nursing programs and is past president of the National Association of Pediatric Nurses and Practitioners (NAPNAP). Cindy Hollis is Missouri's own and is an experienced psychiatric mental health expert. She is also the Missouri representative on the Board at the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Finally, Heidi Hunsel is our current StLNAP president who is experienced in adult and women's health issues and will be speaking to us about what we really need to know about breast lumps.

So you can see, we have an ALL-STAR line up for this year's symposium! Register today to secure your seat at our main event!
