Voting will take place within the month of November and results will be announced at the Holiday Party on December 2nd, 2023.

StlNAP Executive Board Position Descriptions
PRESIDENT (and CoPRESIDENT)
- Serves a one-year term as CoPresident (first year), then two-year term as President (2nd and 3rd years, modified as needed).
- Knowledgeable on organization By-laws and Procedures; facilitates revisions as needed, seeks legal consultation as needed.
- Must have served in another board position the year before becoming CoPresident.
- Provides oversight for all organization operations and assists in website updates as needed.
- Responsible for reporting all organization activities to the general membership at official membership meetings and posting official, general membership meeting slides on the website.
- Creates Executive Board and general membership meeting agendas.
- Facilitates/Leads all Executive Board and general membership meetings.
- Signs for board-approved contractual agreements of $1000 or more requiring a signature.
- Collaborates with all Executive Board members.
- Attends a minimum of three (3) Executive Board meetings and three (3) general membership meetings each year.
- Absence must be excused.
- Unexcused absences to be discussed as needed at Executive Board meeting(s) and a consequence (if any) determined.
VICE PRESIDENT (and CoVICE-PRESIDENT)
- Serves a one-year term as CoVice-President (first year), then two-year term as Vice-President (2nd and 3rd years, modified as needed).
- Knowledgeable on organization By-laws and Procedures; facilitates revisions as needed, seeks legal consultation as needed.
- Provides oversight for all organization general membership meetings (official and unofficial).
- Schedules and communicates (via website) a minimum of four (4) official, general membership meetings per year (additional, unofficial meetings scheduled based on sponsorship and interest opportunities).
- Responsible for providing an educational activity to the general membership at official membership meetings (with or without continuing education credit).
- Secures sponsor and venue for general membership meetings and creates invitation and reservation for meetings on the website.
- Secures continuing education credit for education activity when appropriate.
- Collaborates with all Executive Board members.
- Attends a minimum of three (3) Executive Board meetings and three (3) general membership meetings each year.
- Absence must be excused.
- Unexcused absences to be discussed as needed at Executive Board meeting(s) and a consequence (if any) determined.
SECRETARY (and CoSECRETARY)
- Serves a one-year term as CoSecretary (first year), then two-year term as Secretary (2nd and 3rd years, modified as needed).
- Knowledgeable on organization By-laws and Procedures; facilitates revisions as needed, seeks legal consultation as needed.
- Collaborates with the President and CoPresident on approval and completion of Executive Board meeting minutes.
- Provides meeting minutes for official, general membership meetings on the website.
- Documents results from votes in meeting minutes.
- Ensures StlNAP meeting minutes are accurate before posting on the website.
- Responsible for communications of activities on social media sites, e.g., Facebook, Twitter, etc..
- Collaborates with all Executive Board members.
- Attends a minimum of three (3) Executive Board meetings and three (3) general membership meetings each year.
- Absence must be excused.
- Unexcused absences to be discussed as needed at Executive Board meeting(s) and a consequence (if any) determined.
TREASURER (and CoTREASURER)
- Serves a one-year term as CoTreasurer (first year), then two-year term as Treasurer (2nd and 3rd years, modified as needed).
- Knowledgeable on organization By-laws and Procedures; facilitates revisions as needed, seeks legal consultation as needed.
- Provides oversight for all organization financial decisions and transactions.
- Creates, submits and presents Treasurer reports to the Executive Board and general membership.
- Responsible for reporting organization financial activities at Executive Board member meetings and official membership meetings.
- Maintains all organization financial holdings.
- Assures annual Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and related requirements are completed.
- Collaborates with all Executive Board members.
- Attends a minimum of three (3) Executive Board meetings and three (3) general membership meetings each year.
- Absence must be excused.
- Unexcused absences to be discussed as needed at Executive Board meeting(s) and a consequence (if any) determined.
MEMBERSHIP/NOMINATIONS CHAIR (and CoCHAIR)
- Serves a one-year term as Membership/Nominations CoChair (first year), then one-year term as Membership/Nominations Chair (second year).
- Knowledgeable on organization By-laws and Procedures; facilitates revisions as needed, seeks legal consultation as needed.
- Provides oversight for APRN membership, activities and nominations information.
- Creates, submits, monitors and presents StlNAP membership/nominations campaigns and reports to the Executive Board and general membership.
- Conducts voting activities.
- Develops, plans and promotes StlNAP membership activities approved by the Executive Board.
- Posts StlNAP activities (other than Executive Board or general membership meetings) on the website.
- Collaborates with all Executive Board members.
- Attends a minimum of three (3) Executive Board meetings and three (3) general membership meetings each year.
- Absence must be excused.
- Unexcused absences to be discussed as needed at Executive Board meeting(s) and a consequence (if any) determined.
WEBMASTER (and CoWEBMASTER)
- Serves a one-year term as Webmaster CoChair (first year), then one-year term as Webmaster Chair (second year).
- Knowledgeable on organization By-laws and Procedures; facilitates revisions as needed, seeks legal consultation as needed.
- Provides oversight for website changes and postings.
- Creates, submits and presents website reports to the Executive Board and general membership.
- Attends education offerings on website use and maintains requirements of the ENP network
- Maintains and validates all website designs and postings.
- Collaborates on meeting and symposium postings, registrations, and payments.
- Collaborates with all Executive Board members.
- Attends a minimum of three (3) Executive Board meetings and three (3) general membership meetings each year.
- Absence must be excused.
- Unexcused absences to be discussed as needed at Executive Board meeting(s) and a consequence (if any) determined.
SYMPOSIUM CHAIR (and CoCHAIR)
- Serves a one-year term as Symposium CoChair (first year), then one-year term as Symposium Chair (second year).
- Knowledgeable on organization By-laws and Procedures; facilitates revisions as needed, seeks legal consultation as needed.
- Provides oversight for all annual symposium decisions.
- Creates, submits and presents Symposium reports to the Executive Board and general membership.
- Facilitates/Leads all symposium committee meetings, including meeting agenda and meeting minute completion.
- Approves and signs for all symposium expenses and seeks President approval for contractual expenses over $1000.
- Facilitates and delegates all activities (as appropriate) related to the annual symposium: Venue, exhibitors, speakers, agenda, registrations, give-a-ways, continuing education (CE), and evaluations.
- Collaborates with all Executive Board members.
- Attends a minimum of three (3) Executive Board meetings and three (3) general membership meetings each year.
- Absence must be excused.
- Unexcused absences to be discussed as needed at Executive Board meeting(s) and a consequence (if any) determined.
POLITICAL ADVOCACY CHAIR (and CoCHAIR)
- Serves a one-year term as Political Advocacy CoChair (first year), then one-year term as Political Advocacy Chair (second year).
- Knowledgeable on organization By-laws and Procedures; facilitates revisions as needed, seeks legal consultation as needed.
- Provides oversight for APRN political advocacy information and activities.
- Creates, submits and presents APRN political advocacy reports to the Executive Board and general membership.
- Knowledgeable of and/or participates in APRN political advocacy activities with AMNP, MONA, BABC, NCSBN, AANP, and others.
- Promotes StlNAP political activities with AMNP, MONA, BABC, NCSBN, AANP and others.
- Represents the StlNAP when communicating with AMNP, MONA, BABC, NCSBN, AANP, and other APRN-related organizations.
- Collaborates with all Executive Board members.
- Attends a minimum of three (3) Executive Board meetings and three (3) general membership meetings each year.
- Absence must be excused.
- Unexcused absences to be discussed as needed at Executive Board meeting(s) and a consequence (if any) determined.
