Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Provider to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care in an emergency department setting.
• Perform required procedures, including intubation.
• Manage a daily patient load of 40-42 patients over 24 hours.
• Work 12-hour shifts (9 AM - 9 PM; 9 PM - 9 AM) with the ability to cover both day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a patient admission rate of 13%.

Shift Coverage Model:

• 24/7 availability required
• Minimum number of shifts per month: 10-12

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $75 per hour
• Payment Schedule: Weekly

Requirements:

• Must have an active Illinois license and DEA at the time of presentation.
• Must have a clean file for immediate temporary positions.
• Certification required: ACLS, ATLS, DEA, PALS.
• Must submit an Emergency Provider Application (EPA).
• Availability to start in October 2024 is required.
